Simultaneous Interpreting Mission for the Sino-French GBA Summit
HI-COM is proud to have provided simultaneous interpreting services for the Sino-French GBA Business Summit on October 21st! The event was organized by the French Consulate general, Sunwah Group, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and by Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of Sunwah Group and Chairman of the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union.
HI-COM managed the whole project and provided expert interpreting from English to Chinese and vice versa for 700 guests. The project included two of our finest interpreters, and installation and dismantling of interpreting equipment such as booth and headphones.
About the Sino-French GBA Summit
The Sino-French GBA Summit is aimed at introducing the comparative advantages of the Greater Bay Area in terms of market opportunities, investment and innovation to French companies that already have activities in China.
At the GBA Summit, participants were able to show off their companies’ expertise in different fields, share their projects, and learn how to promote their preferential policies and mechanisms in favor of foreign investment in the Greater Bay Area from the local governments.
The summit also coincided with the celebration of the 4th Anniversary of the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union.
