Consecutive Interpreting for the FINWISE Summit Macau 2019

HI-COM provided consecutive interpreting in Mandarin, Cantonese and English at the FINWISE Summit Macau 2019, held on 21–22 September 2019 at the JW Marriott Hotel Macau.

FINWISE is an international fintech and blockchain conference series that brings together industry experts, companies and investors to discuss technology trends and work with regulators on the development of the sector.

Between 2017 and 2019, FINWISE held conferences in Shanghai, Macau, Tokyo and Hong Kong. The 2017 Shanghai edition featured projects such as Binance, TRON and Jinse Finance, and the May 2019 Hong Kong edition established the Greater Bay Media Alliance.

Our role at the summit

Over the 2-day event, HI-COM’s interpreters provided consecutive interpreting between Mandarin, Cantonese and English for speakers and participants, handling specialised fintech and blockchain terminology.
