The mission consisted in assembling a CL CORP attraction in Zhuhai. It was necessary for the members of the French team to understand the difficulties encountered by the local teams and give their suggestions for carrying out this major project. The members of the French team also had to send instructions to the Chinese teams: it was at this point where the consecutive interpreting from French to Chinese or vice versa was crucial.

The role of the interpreter was to allow both teams to communicate smoothly in order to set up complex facilities in a correct and safe manner.
However, the role of the interpreter was not limited to translation in a professional context. For the French team, such a mission involved a long trip to Guangdong province. Therefore his role was also to put the French team at ease by helping them discover the local culture, as well as the various daily activities. A team in good shape and happy to discover a new culture will be even more able to carry out complex work in close collaboration with local teams.
The members of the French team, made up of young engineers, were very interested in the local culture and in the working methods of their Chinese counterparts. This pleasant atmosphere made the mission all the more enjoyable. HI-COM is proud to provide translators and interpreters who are able to handle challenging French-Chinese consecutive interpreting missions such as this one. These interpreters know how to carry out their mission while applying their personal touch and remaining professional. This is the HI-COM spirit.
