As Finanx AI expanded its presence in the U.S. capital markets, it required professional English-Chinese translation for complex financial, legal, securities, accounting, and digital-asset documentation.
Customer requirement
Finanx AI engaged HI-COM to translate key SEC filings, including its Form S-1 Registration Statement and subsequent Form 10 General Form for Registration of Securities.
The documents involved highly specialized terminology covering securities regulation, corporate governance, U.S. GAAP, treasury management, digital assets, risk disclosure, and regulatory compliance. The client required translations that were accurate, formally appropriate, and consistent with previously translated documents. For documents intended for formal corporate and compliance purposes, consistency was equally important. Terminology and wording used in earlier filings needed to remain consistent with subsequent documents, particularly where the company’s business model, Treasury Reserve Fund, digital assets, corporate structure, and regulatory disclosures were described across different filings.
HI-COM’s Approach
To meet Finanx AI’s requirements, HI-COM assigned a dedicated team of senior translators and reviewers with expertise in financial, legal, securities, and corporate document translation.
The team first analyzed the regulatory and financial context and established a terminology framework covering key concepts such as Treasury Reserve Fund (TRF), Class A and Class B common stock, securities registration, U.S. GAAP, fair-value accounting, digital assets, custody, rebalancing, liquidity, counterparty risk, and tokenomics.
Rather than relying on literal translation, HI-COM applied established financial and legal conventions to ensure the accurate rendering of securities, accounting, regulatory, and risk-related terminology. The team also maintained terminology and content consistency between Finanx AI’s Form S-1 and subsequent Form 10 filing.
Throughout the project, HI-COM carefully preserved the original structure, including headings, tables, defined terms, section numbering, footnotes, disclaimers, and regulatory language. All documents underwent a multi-step translation, editing, and proofreading process, with particular attention to terminology, figures, regulatory references, formatting, and legally significant statements.
